You will be working in the bar and restaurant and must be able to work weekends and evenings with two days off each week. For someone who is motivated there is an opportunity for advancement and salary increase after a short term.

Methven is a friendly community and although a smallish town we are spoilt for choice with a range of cafes, restaurants, pubs and lots of activities such as tramping, mountain biking, boating, fishing, and a new hot pool development soon to open. Mt Hutt Skifield is on our doorstep and a number of club fields are within easy driving.

Manager’s Certificate preferred, OR a minimum of 12 months experience as you will be required to attend the LCQ course and apply for your Certificate.

As a manager you will need to be reliable, punctual, and take pride in your personal presentation. You will be working in an excellent supportive team environment therefore we are looking for a team player, who uses initiative.

Please only apply if you are able to relocate to Methven and can work evenings and weekends. As a Country Pub we are open for All Day meals, six days a week.

There will be times when you will need to work longer shifts and on occasion forego a day off in the event of illness or unexpected situations. It is necessary to work in every area of the business which includes the bar, restaurant, pokies and online accommodation booking system.
